In an effort to enhance teaching and practice of the First Amendment in social studies classes as well as journalism classes, the Journalism Education Association is starting a series of 5-Minute Lesson Plans, and soon, 1-Minute Lesson Plans, for the First Amendment. Initial lessons will be from members of JEA's Scholastic Press Rights Commission but we also invite any teacher, student or administrator to submit lessons.
